Essential/Desirable Qualificaiton
|
1. Possess a bachelor’s degree with a second class degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Chemical Engineering obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act in India; or any other educational institution recognized as such or declared to be deemed as University section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act,1956. (2) Possess the basic knowledge of Computer Application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Service Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967. (3) Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.

Experience(If any) Description
|
1. Have about eight years’ experience of working in the Gujarat Industrial Safety and Health Services, under the Directorate, Industrial Safety and Health on the post not below the rank of Industrial Safety and Health Officer, Class 2; or
(ii) Have about eight years’ combined or separate experience in the field of Design/Fabrication/Maintenance of Machineries in industry/Government/Local Bodies/ Government undertaking/Board/Corporation/Limited Company established under the Companies Act, 2013 on the post which can be considered equivalent to the post not below the rank of Industrial Safety and Health Officer, Class II in the Gujarat Industrial Safety and Health Service, under the Directorate, Industrial Safety and Health, Gujarat state.
