Essential/Desirable Qualificaiton
|
1. Possess a Master Degree in Chemistry / Bio-chemistry / Microbiology / Dairy Chemistry / Food Technology / Food and Nutrition or a Bachelor Degree in Dairy Technology / Oil Technology / Veterinary Science obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or State Act in India; or any other educational institution recognized as such or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956; or is an associate of the Institution of Chemists (India) by examination in the section of Food Analysts conducted by the Institution of Chemists (India) 2. Possess the basic knowledge of computer application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules,1967; 3. Have adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.

Experience(If any) Description
|
(i)Have about five years experience after obtaining the prescribed educational qualification on the post not below the rank of Junior Scientific Assistant (Food Division),Class-III, in the subordinate services of Commissionerate of Food&Drugs Administration, Gujarat State;or (ii)Have about five years combined or separate experience after obtaining the prescribed educational qualification the field of analysis of food in any laboratory or research institute accredited by National Accreditation Board for Testing Calibration Laboratories and notified by Food Safety and Standards Authority of India under food Safety and Standards Act,2006; or in testing or research division of any food manufacturing industry approved by Food Safety and Standards Authority of India under food Safety and Standards Act, 2006 on the post which can be considered equivalent to the post not below the rank of Junior Scientific Assistant (Food Division),Class-III, in the subordinate services of Commissionerate
